Sinking of the Oriskany
The Oriskany, a decommissioned aircraft carrier, was sunk 24 miles off the coast of Pensacola, Fla., on May 17 to form an artificial reef. The sinking of the 888-foot ship took 37 minutes.

Skype has tossed down the gauntlet. In an announcement today, the company announced that SkypeOut - the ability to call any landline or mobile number - is now available free through the end of the year to all U.S. and Canadian customers.
